A linear process is governed by the equation: \( x_k = A_{k1} x_{k1} + B_{k1} u_{k1} + w_{k1} \) where
 A_{k1} is the state transition matrix in the absence of control,
 B_{k1} is the control matrix,
 u_{k1} is the command
 w_{k1} is the process noise, which has covariance matrix Q_{k1}
